I am Shruti Panda, a second year graduate student pursuing a Masters degree in Computer Science at Texas A&M University, College Station. I am from India. I enjoy singing, swimming, adventure activities and cooking. I have a strong interest in web and mobile technologies, user interface design and data sciences (natural language processing and information retrieval). I worked as a graduate summer intern at Paypal
As it is relevant to my interests, I have taken the course, Computers and New Media to study the detailed impact of computers and media on users and the relationship between computers and media. I am also curious to know the way computers spread information in the form of media and how design of computer interface effects communication of information to users. Additionally, I will be able to work on a project to develop something interesting during the semester.
